As a Group, we are deeply aware of the impact our businesses have on the world around us. In response to this we have developed guidelines at all our companies to help them address the environmental challenge. In some of our operations we also have programmes in place that seek to mitigate the effects of our activities, to use new environmentally friendly products and processes where appropriate, and to provide support for environmental protection projects.

Given the reach of our companies in the community, we believe we have a responsibility not only to reduce our impact on the environment. We also have an important role to play in informing our customers of the benefits that better environmental choices will bring.
