Suffering from an office party hangover has just got a little easier, as Superdrug announces the launch of the At Your Desk delivery service during December.

Operating from the Oxford Street store this emergency service offers the chance to have emergency essentials from Superdrug delivered at the double. Laddered tights before an important meeting? Banging head-ache, or upset tummy? Forgotten make-up bag before red hot date? Fragrance or beauty gift set for that important birthday or anniversary? Superdrug believes that this emergency service could save more than a few relationships – as well as few fashion lives.

As well as offering beauty, cosmetics and medical essentials those in fashion trauma can call with sartorial emergencies. For instance an unexpected evening out can warrant a few new accessories and jewellery to turn a day time work outfit into something perfect for a big night out. Shoppers can call the service and give a few outlines of what they need and the SOS personal shopper will choose an appropriate selection of accessories and jewellery from the True Spirit fashion brand for at desk shopping.

Michelle Wright, manager of Superdrug's London stores said; "We're always looking at ways that we can help our customers and if it means someone going to the shelf, choosing something appropriate and nipping it around to their office we're more than happy to do that."

To make life easy for those shopping by proxy Superdrug has put together a number of bundles so even ordering couldn't be easy:

  		•  Poor you; winter cold and flu survival pack containing Lemsip Max capsules(pack of eight), Superdrug dual action honey & lemon throat lozenges, Superdrug fizzy vitamin C tablets (pack of twenty) and a six pack of pocket tissues. All for £3.13, half the normal price

    The service will operate 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday until 23rd December. Customers should call the At Your Desk hotline to place their order (020 7287 4668). To qualify for the delivery service orders must be a minimum of £10 and payment will be taken by cash on delivery.

    If successful the service could be rolled out to operate from key stores throughout the country during 2006.
