Fortress Presents Tennis star with Samsung 42" Plasma TV in Appreciation

Fortress, Hong Kong's leading retailer in personal electronics and electrical appliances invited Ms. Serena Williams, the world's number seven ranked women's tennis star from the U.S.A. to shop for personal digital products at Fortress World, Times Square.

Serena Williams is currently in Hong Kong to take part in the Watsons Water Champions Challenge 2005 from January 5-8, 2005. Along with her passion for tennis, Williams is also passionate about high technology and enjoying a quality lifestyle, which is why Fortress invited her to tour the newly revamped "Fortress World", the best place to purchase digital products. Accompanied by Mr. Ian Wade, Managing Director of A.S. Watson Group and Mr. Iwan Evans, CEO of Food, Electronics & General Merchandise Division of A.S. Watson Group, Serena toured around the shop. Later Fortress presented a 42" Samsung Plasma TV, SONY Digital Camera (T3), JVC latest model digital video camera (200E) and 3G Mobile Phone (LG8130) to Ms. Williams to demonstrate Fortress' appreciation for her visit.

Fortress presented a 42" Samsung Plasma TV to Ms. Serena Williams to show appreciation.

Ms. Serena Williams donated HK$1000 to Fortress' Donation Box to aid for the Tsunami disaster.
