A.S. Watson Group, the world’s largest international health and beauty retailer, and Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading super app, today announced the largest O+O (Offline plus Online/ O plus O) health and beauty partnership in Southeast Asia, spanning across six Southeast Asian markets involving over 2,200 Watsons stores. O+O is the new standard for retail, which always involves offline plus online. The traditional O2O model (online to offline or offline to online) from the past generation drove customers from one channel to another, however O+O is totally different. It is more about creating an integrated experience to better serve customers’ needs, that enables them to shop across any channel, anytime, anywhere.

Tree of Love

Watsons Singapore brought in a Christmas tree and dubbed it the Tree of Love, to celebrate the festive season. All office colleagues were given a heart-shaped card to write their messages and hang it on the tree. The excitement did not end there – the most creative design and meaningful message won the prize.

Handmade Needle Felted Craft

Working with our hands does wonders for our brain and can be a great way to relieve stress. A total of 60 colleagues from Watsons Taiwan participated in a needle felted craft workshop where, under the guidance of a tutor, made their own wool felted craft by hand. Concentrating on something other than their regular work was a good way to relieve stress and re-energise.

Love in Action

Watsons Hong Kong has been collaborating with InspiringHK Sports Foundation for the second year to spread love, care and happiness to the community. Watsons has been fundraising in all stores by placing donation boxes, encouraging the public to contribute and support those in need; it also held a Christmas Charity Bear Sales, where $5 will be donated to InspiringHK Sports Foundation for every charity bear sold, in order to support their drive to nurture youth through sports and sending Christmas blessings to the underprivileged families.

In response to company-wide environmental protection and paper waste reduction drive, MoneyBack members can review and download digital receipt in the MoneyBack App after shopping at PARKnSHOP and Watsons Hong Kong physical stores. This will improve member’s consumption habits and advocate the concept of waste reduction by going paperless.
