Watsons Thailand launched “Watsons Green Ribbon” campaign to raise money every year during the International Women’s Day. Through Green Ribbons selling, Watsons aims to encourage and support all women to love and respect themselves, value gender equality in society and empower women with positivity. All proceeds from the ribbon sales will be donated to the Association for the Promotion of the Status of Woman(Emergency Homes), helping children and women with mental and physical issues in Thailand.

Refill for a Better Tomorrow

A simple small step makes a great impact to our planet. Watsons Malaysia has launched the first Naturals by Watsons Refill Station in Sunway Pyramid, encouraging customers to reuse and reduce use of plastic. The packaging bottles are also made of 100% post-consumer recycled materials, while the products are not tested on animals, making it 100% vegan-friendly.

Watsons Hong Kong has partnered with P&G to launch Plastic Reborn, a territory-wide plastic container recycling campaign. By collaborating with local recycling firm The Loops Hong Kong, Watsons supports local plastic waste reclamation and recycling, and takes the lead in driving circular economy from retail market. While Watsons Indonesia partnered with brands, issuing vouchers to customers who recycle their plastic packaging.

A.S. Watson Industries welcomed Spring with the annual Chinese New Year blessings ceremony, a long-held tradition and a typical Chinese custom of well-wishing. A time to aspire for a smooth and safe operation for everyone, in the family and businesses, a splash of festive fun was added with a New Year Dressing Competition held alongside. Excitement stirred among colleagues who showed their lively buzz, and some even scooped up awards with outstanding performance!

To celebrate the wonderful milestone of A.S. Watson Group’s 180th Anniversary, the Group has launched a campaign to share love with all our colleagues and acknowledge the heroes who work among us. The Love Hero Campaign invited everyone in the Hong Kong head office to nominate their heroic colleagues on staff social app WatsUp. The response was overwhelming with an amazing 11,000+ nominations were received in just two weeks. From thousands of nominations, 18 Love Heroes were selected. Each Love Hero was rewarded with HK$1,800 in shopping coupons. Let’s pay tribute to our unsung heroes, and continue to bring more smiles and love to ASW together!

The celebratory mood reached a crescendo with a staff lucky draw, coupled with distribution of red packets and golden chocolate coins by the Fortune God Mascot.
