Watson Group, has partnered with Tencent-owned WeChat Work to introduce Watsons China’s WeChat Work platform and plan to first launch Cloud-based Stores (Cloud Stores) in Q1. Watsons China is operating 3,800 stores with over 65 million loyal members. The launch of WeChat Work and Cloud Stores enables Watsons China to provide personalised service and round-the-clock shopping experience to customers.

Located in Kunming, the largest city in Yunnan Province with GDP growth of 8.9% last year, the store is designed to provide one-on-one beauty services to customers, with fully integrated digital experience.
In order to promote parent-child relationship, Watsons China’s staff and their children were invited to a day of fun games and performances. Staff enjoyed stage performance by the children. A.S. Watson hosted the “Give a Smile” medical mission in Yunnan, China in 2019. The mission helps the cleft children regain confidence through giving them a beautiful and brighter smile. In all, 72 of patients received free surgery carried out by global experts.
In June, volunteers from A.S. Watson Group and Watsons China participated in Give a Smile medical mission sponsored by the Group in Yunnan, China. It’s was such a life-changing mission that helped the cleft children regain smiles and confidence. In all, 72 patients received free surgery carried out by global experts. The mission not only changed the future of the children but also their family.
The pursuit of health and beauty has always been part of Watsons’ corporate value, and in order to advocate a healthy lifestyle in the office, Watsons China organised the GO!WATSONS – Burning Calories event. The event took place in the form of daily goal achievements in a WeChat mini-program. Moreover, individual and team competitions were held to motivate participants to exercise more. The month-long event ended with over 97 million steps taken and 4,896,037 calories burnt.
In order to raise the environmental awareness of employees, PARKSHOP China invited staff along with their families to a tree planting event. Participation in an activity that paves the way for future generations is one of the best ways to raise awareness on environmental protection.
