To promote Environmental Health Month, A.S. Watson Industries arranged an eco-tour for its colleagues and their families. Led by an expert guide from the Hong Kong Geopark and through professional and vivid explanations, participants were able to gain a better understanding about the formation and geological history of Lai Chi Chuang. They also toured Hoi Ha Wan on a special boat with a glass bottom, which enabled them to see the lush coral and marine life and learn more about coastal ecology and rich marine resources.
Employees at the Watsons Russia office skipped buses and cars and went to work by bicycle instead. They did this to raise awareness to environmental protection, reduce their carbon emission, contribute to economic efficiency and last but not least, to help maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

Watsons Malaysia’s colleagues were invited to participate in plastic recycling workshops to raise their awareness on how plastic affect our environment and daily lives, how we can reduce single-use plastic as well as transform and upcycle used plastic to something useful. The first workshop taught participants how to turn used plastic bottles or skincare containers into planting pots and the second showed them how to make jewellery holder by using plastic straws.
