This is the second year Watsons Taiwan collaborated with Operation Smile to help children with cleft lip and palate. The team designed a limited “Give a Smile” mini handkerchief for charity sale. For each set of mini-hankie sold, Watsons Taiwan donated NT$10 to Operation Smile, raising a fund of NT$200,000.
Staff at Watsons Taiwan got to vote for their favourite stress-relieving activity. By popular vote, salad jar making and Watson store LEGO assembly were selected. What’s more, family of staff members also joined in on the fun!

Doris Lee, the store manager of Watsons Taiwan, was honoured the Outstanding Store Manager Award from 210 competitors in the Chain Store Oscar Award held by Taiwanese Chain Stores and Franchise Association (TCFA). Her exemplary performance and positive attitude at work earned her the top accolade.
For the fifth year in a row, Watsons Taiwan partnered with Formosa Cancer Foundation for the Love Your Lungs campaign. This year, they invited a renowned local illustrator Miss Undine to create an animation about lung cancer prevention, which is voiced by celebrities Joanne Tseng and Melvin Sia. Watsons Taiwan donated a total of NT$ 1 million, of which a portion will be used to fund lung cancer screenings for women in vulnerable families.

Watsons Taiwan co-launched the “Like a Girl” campaign with P&G to raise awareness of gender equality, encouraging teenage girl in Taiwan to break gender stereotypes and daring them to be who they want to be. During the campaign, for every Whisper product sold, Watsons and Whisper donated NT$1 to underprivileged girls football teams. Managing Director of Watsons Taiwan also shared her experience as a business veteran on how to build self-confidence.
Watsons Taiwan volunteers supported Children Are Us Foundation before Mid-Autumn Festival, working alongside individuals with intellectual disability to package mooncakes in the Foundation’s workshops in Taipei, Hsinchu and Kaohsiung. Celebrating the spirit of sharing, donation collected from staff went to the 265 boxes of mooncakes gifted to indigenous children living in remote areas.
Watsons Taiwan collaborated with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) of Taiwan to launch a travel health campaign, where Watsons’ PX consultants were on hand to answer the public’s questions about precautions against diseases while travelling. Moreover, articles and information about travel health were distributed via direct mail and promoted on social media.
