AS Watson Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Norman Yum as Managing Director of Watsons Taiwan, effective 1 January 2027.
Norman is a seasoned retail leader with extensive experience across Asia, spinning store operations, commercial management, general management and business transformation. He began his career with AS Watsons in the 1980s and later returned to PARKnSHOP, where he was appointed Managing Director in 2018. Most recently, Norman served as Managing Director of Citrus Growers International, where he led business transformation initiatives and drove sustainable growth across the organisation.
Announcing the appointment, Caryn Loh, Regional Managing Director, Health & Beauty Asia of AS Watson Group, said, “Norman is a highly experienced retail leader who knows both the Taiwan market and AS Watson well. Having previously managed a major retail business in Taiwan, he brings strong understanding of local consumers and the retail landscape, together with board experience in commercial management, operations and business transformation. I am confident his leadership will help Watsons Taiwan into its next phase of growth.”
AS Watson would also like to express its sincere appreciation to Alice Huang, who will retire from her role as Managing Director of Watsons Taiwan, and thank Alice for her dedicated service and valuable contributions to the business.
