Our Community

A.S. Watson Group started the partnership with Operation Smile to launch “Give a Smile” global health-focused sustainability programme in 2018, giving hope and to put smiles on the faces of children who were born with cleft lip or palate. The Group targets to restore 10,000 perfect smiles by providing free surgeries to kids with cleft lips and palates by 2030.

Smile campaign 2017 1024x768 Purpose and CommitmentA.S. Watson Group launched Smile Campaign since 2014 to promote a culture of happiness around the globe. With the theme of “Smile Inside-out” in 2021, the campaign promotes positivity and raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing. The group also established Billion Smile Club with supports of our retail brands all over the world, which aims to bring more smiles to our customers.

Our Planet

In 2020, Watsons launched Sustainable Choices, putting sustainability at the core of brand development and sourcing, from packaging to ingredient choices, offering more sustainable choices to customers. We target to eliminate unnecessary packaging, avoid over-packaging and phase out PVC by 2030.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were introduced in 2015 to unify companies, governments and NGOs under the same set of 2030 sustainability goals. ASW supports the SDGs and has mapped them with our own activities in Our Community, Our People, Our Customers and Our Planet.
