In summer 2017, The Perfume Shop participated in “Running Down Dementia” to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK and helped raise the public awareness of Dementia.
The Perfume Shop has supported Look Good Feel Better for nine years – it is the only charity that helps women with cancer to combat the visible side effects of their treatment. Teams from Superdrug’s back office and stores took part in a netball tournament for the campaign, and it had a “Look Good Feel Better” week in stores, where customers could donate and “go pink”.
A week-long series of events in June 2015 in The Perfume Shop raised over £10,000 for Look Good Feel Better, a charity that supports women with cancer. In stores, staff sold LGFB trolley tokens, puckered up with customers for selfies, wrapped perfume gifts in exchange for a donation, and had fun dressing in pink. At the warehouse and office, there was many fun activities such as cake bake, raffle, Zumba classes and a Nail Bar.

From cleaning up the garden to painting garden furniture, volunteers from The Perfume Shop spend a day in the Holmer's House for a garden makeover for the elderly.

TPS also outperformed other perfume retailers in the market as the only luxury perfumeries & cosmetics retailer on Top 10 ranking.
The Sunday Times "Top 100 Best Companies to Work For" has rated The Perfume Shop (TPS) as one of the best places to work in UK. Ranked at 37th, TPS is one of a small number of retailers that made the top 50 in the 2012 survey released in early March. Among the staff of TPS being surveyed, 82% agreed that they love working for the company, while 80% felt a strong sense of family and 81% regarded that staff within the company are willing to help each other. This proves TPS to be a truly human-oriented employer, bringing more to the lives of customers, and also to its staff.
