A.S. Watson Group (ASW) and HKRMA co-organised the first Green Hackathon in Hong Kong, aiming to encourage young people to develop innovative ideas to promote green awareness and practice amongst customers and retail industry.
Launched in 2005, A.S. Watson Group Hong Kong Student Sports Awards (HKSSA) opens to all local schools to commend one sports talent from each school every year, recognizing the effort made by student sports elites behind their achievements and injecting positive energy into the youth.

A total of 145 patients have been screened and 92 of them received free surgeries conducted by experts from different parts of the world. Watsons Water Hong Kong has recently kicked off its 5-year vision with cross-sector Go Green initiatives, bringing together stakeholders and recyclers to make collective efforts to reduce the bulk of plastic bottle waste. It has launched two innovative vending machines, namely “Green Point Smart Water Bottle Reverse Vending Machine” and “Green Point Smart Water Refilling Machine”, that will help turn back the tide of plastic pollution. The former accepts empty bottles for recycling and the latter allows empty bottles to be refilled. These machines are the first of 500 planned for Hong Kong.
A.S. Watson Group sponsored the first “Give a Smile” medical mission to help children with cleft lips and palates in Guizhou, China, giving them a beautiful smile and a brighter future. Colleagues from ASW’s Hong Kong Office, Watsons China and PARKnSHOP China teamed up with Operation Smile medical volunteers to take different roles in the seven-day mission. In all, 145 patients were screened and 92 of them received free surgery carried out by global experts.
