Watsons Athletic Club (WAC) hosted its 35th Anniversary Celebration Dinner, themed "Shine Bright, Shine Far”, signifying the transmission of the sporting spirit through generations and inspiring the new generation to shine on the field. Around 200 guests, including representatives from the China Hong Kong Association of Athletics Affiliates, athletes, registered coaches, sponsor delegates and parent representatives, gathered to witness and celebrate this significant moment.

Watsons Hong Kong is dedicated to enhancing community health awareness and providing valuable health services. Recently, it hosted the Health Assessment Mobile Truck event across various districts, offering a range of health assessments, including blood glucose tests, cholesterol tests, blood pressure measurements. Dedicated health specialists, including pharmacists, nutritionists and registered nurses, collaborated to deliver these assessments and personalised solutions for attendees.
The Fortress volunteer team recently joined hands with its business partner, LG Hong Kong, to organise the “We Care We Share” initiative at Caritas Our Common Home in Tsuen Wan which aims to provide an extended space for families living in subdivided flats. As part of its “We Care We Share” initiative, over 40 home appliances have been donated to support families in need. Fortress hopes to spread warmth to every corner of the community and contribute to "living better together" for more people.
Watson’s Wine has partnered with the social enterprise DOSHA Woodcraft to host wood upcycling workshops since 2021. This year, the event specifically invited a group of children to nurture their creativity by transforming wooden wine boxes into personalised puzzle tissue boxes. This initiative not only spread joy within the community but also breathed new life into unwanted materials, highlighting a commitment to sustainability.
AS Watson announced the launch of its community support programme “Wanderer Watchers”, which aims to create a Dementia Care Network that is instrumental in detecting and locating missing dementia patients.

Watsons Hong Kong has collaborated with Colgate to launch the first toothpaste tube take-back programme, "Small Acts - Big Smiles." This programme aims to collect toothpaste tubes from any brand for recycling, transforming them into valuable resources. Recyclable components will be converted into stationery for underprivileged children, while non-recyclables will be repurposed into building materials, making a positive impact on the environment.
